The beauty of Kansas is in the rolling terrain, grasslands, rich agricultural fields and variety of small to medium sized cities. The state has an excellent base of manufacturing, finance, service companies along with extensive manufacturing industries. In general the cost of living is lower than in states with large metropolitan areas and yet the larger cities of Topeka, Kansas City, Manhattan and Wichita all offer many of the amenities found in large urban areas without the complications that size brings.
