Brookdale Senior Living recognized Retirement Connection for outstanding work in the community with their “Compassionate Communications” award. The 12 Oregon communities at Brookdale Senior Living have nominated and selected Amy Schmidt as the recipient of this award for her advocacy and thoughtful journalism as it relates to our senior community. The award was given at the Regional “Cross Train Your Brain” Conference on May 12th 2009 at the UCLA campus in Los Angeles.
